ISSPA will publish feature articles on topics relevant to the software and systems process community and to other readers with an interest in process as a domain of research and application. Feature articles may include technical perspectives, conference and workshop summaries, interviews, experience reports, challenge problems, and more.
Contributions are invited from the ISSPA Community, from the larger software and systems engineering communities, and from other fields where processes are of interest.
If you would like to contribute a feature article to the ISSPA website, please reach out to us using the form below.
Feature articles should represent the work of their authors.
They should be written in a style that is clear, direct, and appropriate to the form and substance of the article. For instance, some articles may be formal and technical, whereas other may be informal and conversational.
We expect that the length of feature articles, if printed, would generally fall between about two and ten pages (exceptions may be negotiable).
Feature articles may be published directly on the ISSPA website or made available for download from the website. The option of publication on the website may only be available for shorter articles. Longer articles will be published via for download with a shorter summary on the website.
The formatting of feature articles should reflect the way in which they will be presented and read. Embedded links, illustrations, citations, and other elements may be present in a feature article according to its mode of presentation and consistent with applicable professional standards.
All submissions for feature articles will be reviewed by the ISSPA Editorial Board and submitted articles will be published at the sole discretion of the ISSPA Editorial Board.
View ISSPA’s general policies on publications, including terms and conditions.
